Why are we doing this?: 

Proposal to build a new primary school on land off Chester Road Wrexham

This consultation is an opportunity for the community to learn about the proposals for a new primary school for your area prior to a Planning Application being submitted.

 Wrexham County Borough Council wishes to seek the views of interested parties regarding the proposal to build a new primary school. It is important that stakeholder views can be taken into account before a planning application is made.

This consultation document sets out information which consultees will need to consider to take part fully in the consultation process. The process follows regulatory guidance as set out in Article 1 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016, & Coronavirus Covid 19 Response amendment’s to Pre-application consultation procedures, development of national significance & community & town council consultation.

The formal consultation period commences on the 20th July 2020 and ends on the 16th August 2020.

We are therefore consulting with the community, potential users and other relevant stakeholders.

We will be using the internet to gather people's views. You are welcome to ask questions and let us have your views by emailing nineacreconsultation@wrexham.gov.uk to put your response in writing.  Alternatively those not online can request a hard copy of the documents by emailing  wrexham@lawray.co.uk or by telephone on 01978 357 887.
